Known for his contentious remarks, a UFC fighter previously notorious for accusing Israel of orchestrating the 9/11 attacks and denying the Holocaust is now criticizing former President Donald Trump for ‘deceiving’ him. Bryce Mitchell, once an ardent supporter who professed he would ‘take a bullet’ for Trump, is reconsidering his stance. The 31-year-old from Arkansas, who has long been a proponent of various conspiracy theories, now perceives the 47th President as resembling the ‘anti-Christ’ more closely than he initially believed.
In a recent Instagram video, Mitchell—who has lauded Adolf Hitler as a ‘good guy’ and someone he’d ‘go fishing with’—declared to his audience that he no longer aligns with Trump. “I don’t support him, I don’t like him, I think he’s a corrupted leader,” Mitchell confessed, adding that it took him some time to reach this realization. This statement contrasts sharply with his comments post-fight in December 2024, where he praised the then-79-year-old leader for seldom making mistakes and having the ability to rectify them. “I’m not a biased man. He talked a good game. He tricked me. I was fooled. I admit it,” Mitchell now concedes.
Mitchell’s discontent with Trump’s second term in office aligns with some of his more radical beliefs. A major point of contention for him is the administration’s failure to disclose the Epstein files, which they seemingly downplay as nonexistent. The demand for transparency regarding these documents crosses partisan lines, with both Democrats and Republicans urging their release, highlighting a rare area of bipartisan agreement amid increasing political division in the United States.
Mitchell wasn’t done: ‘They’re sending Israel and Ukraine all of our tax dollars, just like the numbnuts before him did. And now he’s blaming the beef farmers for the price of beef.’ Toward the end of the video, Mitchell pointed to a Bible verse to describe Trump, saying, ‘I want you to get into Revelation 13:3 and I want to you to read that verse, yeah, about the anti-Christ. I do think that Donald Trump is that beast of Revelation 13:3.’
That chapter of the Book of Revelation refers to a monster ‘having seven heads and ten horns’ – with the third verse referencing how ‘the whole world followed after the beast’. Despite his newfound distaste for the President, the top pinned post on his Instagram page is still a gallery of photos of him at Trump’s Second Inauguration back in January – with a caption that reads, ‘i had the experience of a lifetime celebratin the inaguration [sic]’.
Mitchell has a career MMA record of 18-3. So far this year, he’s defeated Said Nurmagomedov and lost to Jean Silva. Before his fight against Silva, Mitchell claimed that the Brazilian fighter was possessed by a ‘legion of demons’ who had been ‘attacking me every single time I sleep’.
