ORLANDO, FL – Halloween has arrived with a delightful surprise in the weather department. Central Florida awoke to temperatures in the 40s and 50s this morning, a noticeable departure from the usual low 60s typical for this time of year. This brisk morning air provides a refreshing start to the holiday.

    Lows Friday Morning

Historically, the coolest Halloween on record in Orlando was back in 1993, when temperatures reached a mere 66 degrees. Today, the city saw highs reaching 69 degrees, bringing us close to that nostalgic chill experienced decades ago.

As night falls and festivities like trick-or-treating begin, expect the air to become even crisper, with temperatures dipping into the 60s. It’s advisable to layer up as you head out to enjoy the evening’s activities.

    Hour by hour forecast

Overnight, temperatures are anticipated to drop again into the 40s and 50s, ensuring a decidedly cool start to the weekend.

    Lows tonight

Looking ahead, the weekend promises to be pleasant and mostly dry, featuring highs ranging from the mid to upper 70s with a blend of sunshine and clouds. However, a cold front is expected to move in from Sunday into Monday, increasing the likelihood of rain to about 20-30%. Monday will see slightly cooler conditions with highs in the low 70s, but a warming trend is set to follow, ushering temperatures back into the low 80s as the week progresses.

The weekend itself looks pleasant and mostly dry, with highs in the mid- to upper-70s under a mix of sun and clouds. A cold front arrives Sunday into Monday, bringing rain chances up to about 20–30%. Monday will be a touch cooler with highs in the low-70s, but a warming trend takes over afterward, pushing temperatures back into the low-80s through the rest of the week.
