LIST: Restaurants around Tampa Bay offer free meals during SNAP funding lapse

GULFPORT, Fla. (WFLA) — Beginning November 1, a number of restaurants throughout the Tampa Bay area are stepping up to support Florida residents facing challenges from the temporary suspension of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) by providing complimentary meals.

Pinellas County

    • Free meal for all who need it
    • 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday-Sunday
    • To-go only
    • Ask for the “shutdown to-go special”
