Bengals-Bears game today: Cincinnati Bengals host Chicago Bears with both teams looking to bounce back after tough losses

CHICAGO — This Sunday, the Cincinnati Bengals are set to face off against the Chicago Bears in a crucial matchup that promises to be a turning point for both teams. After suffering disappointing losses last week, both squads are eager to reclaim their momentum. The Bengals experienced a heartbreaking defeat against the Jets, letting slip a substantial 15-point lead in the fourth quarter, culminating in a narrow 39-38 loss. Meanwhile, the Bears saw their four-game winning streak come to an end with a 30-16 loss at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens.

The Bears, under the leadership of quarterback Caleb Williams, have been encountering challenges in converting red zone opportunities into touchdowns, which could see them relying more heavily on D’Andre Swift and their ground attack. On the other hand, the Bengals are hoping that seasoned quarterback Joe Flacco can return to the starting lineup for his fourth game. However, Flacco’s availability is uncertain due to a shoulder injury, which might open the door for Jake Browning to step in.

Sunday’s showdown between Chicago, boasting a 4-3 record, and Cincinnati, sitting at 3-5, will kick off at 1 p.m. EST, broadcasted on CBS. The odds, according to BetMGM, slightly favor the Bears by 2 1/2 points. In terms of betting against the spread, the Bears have matched their record at 4-3, while the Bengals trail at 3-5.
