Apple has unveiled a new version of its App Store on the web, creating a comprehensive platform where users can explore a wide range of apps tailored for all Apple devices. This development, highlighted by MacRumors and 9to5Mac, transforms apps.apple.com from a mere informational page into an interactive browsing experience.

Despite this upgrade, the web-based App Store does not yet support direct downloads. Instead, users can share apps or open them within the App Store app on their devices.

Users can seamlessly navigate between app listings for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Vision Pro, Apple Watch, and Apple TV. Moreover, the site offers curated recommendations on the Today tab and allows sorting through categories like productivity, entertainment, and adventure.

This web-based App Store also functions as a search gateway for apps. While Apple previously provided individual app pages, they were not easily searchable, unless accessed via specific links.
