Sydney Sweeney exuded both coolness and confidence as she made her way through New York City on Tuesday evening. The 28-year-old actress, known for her role in “Euphoria,” was seen attending a Q&A session following a screening of her latest film, “Christy.”

The film, which delves into the life of trailblazing female boxer Christy Martin, is the latest project in Sydney’s bustling career. Her appearance comes on the heels of her striking cover shoot for GQ’s Men of the Year issue, a feature that has been generating quite a buzz.

While the GQ cover has certainly kept her in the spotlight, it has also sparked a fair amount of debate online. Many fans have expressed concern that Sydney is becoming overexposed, given her relentless schedule of film promotions and her recent involvement in a contentious campaign with American Eagle jeans.

Noticeably absent from her side was her new boyfriend, Scooter Braun, whom she’s been seen with in the past week. This follows a rather public altercation she had with her former fiancé, Jonathan Davino, which unfolded in a car.

On this particular evening, however, Sydney seemed determined to move forward. She stepped out of a sleek black Escalade in a chic gray tweed herringbone coat adorned with a generous fleece collar, signaling both style and resilience.

Sydney looked as if she was trying to put that behind her on Tuesday when she emerged from a black Escalade in a tasteful gray tweed herringbone coat with an expansive fleece collar.

Similar to the outfit she wore the night before, Sydney’s double-breasted coat was belted to emphasize her trim midriff and hourglass figure.

She wore a white top underneath the coat, but her skirt or pants didn’t peak out beyond her already short jacket.

The film and TV star completed her look with pointy black heels, chic dark sunglasses and her wavy blond bob.

Sydney looked too cool for school when she was spotted later in the evening in a second ensemble.

She wore a double-breasted black leather jacket with a modest fleece-lined collar, and she paired her jacket with knee-high black suede boots.

The actress carried the same black semicircular bag and stayed warm in black stockings.

Earlier, fans complained that they were ‘tired’ of seeing her ‘everywhere’ after she appeared on the cover of GQ’s Men of the Year issue.

Taking to the comments of GQ’s announcement, one person begged: ‘I’m so tired of having Sydney Sweeney shoved down my throat, please anyone else.’

‘She’s the female form of Pedro Pascale,’ another user wrote. ‘She’s everywhere.’

‘Nope,’ added one commenter, while another yawned: ‘Way over hyped.’

In her interview, Sweeney spoke out about the controversial American Eagle campaign.

Over the summer, the actress starred in a viral advert for the brand’s jeans, which provoked a social media meltdown.

The commercial, titled Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans, showed the star buttoning up a set of denim trousers and offering a playful pun on the word ‘genes.’

‘Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality and even eye color… my jeans are blue,’ she said.

The campaign was met with controversy upon its launch in July, as social media users feverishly accused it of being racist and flirting with eugenics in light of its star’s blond-haired, azure-eyed appearance.

Breaking her silence on the backlash for the first time, Sweeney told the publication: ‘I did a jean ad. I mean, the reaction definitely was a surprise, but I love jeans. All I wear are jeans. I’m literally in jeans and a T-shirt every day of my life.’

When asked her response to Donald Trump speaking about the ad, Sweeney described the moment as ‘surreal’.

‘I kind of just put my phone away,’ she continued.

‘I was filming every day. I’m filming Euphoria, so I’m working 16-hour days and I don’t really bring my phone on set, so I work and then I go home and I go to sleep.

‘So I didn’t really see a lot of it.’

The President wrote on Truth Social in August: ‘Sydney Sweeney, a registered Republican, has the HOTTEST ad out there. Go get ’em Sydney!’

Her outing comes after a source told People that Sydney has put her ex Jonathan Davino behind her. ‘Sydney was determined to remain friendly with him after they split, but she has fully moved on,’ they claimed.

‘She’s really tried to keep things amicable. He still asks to see her and she has when she’s had the time, but she’s never getting back together with him,’ the insider continued. ‘She just wants to move on now.’

The couple had gotten engaged in 2022, but the Euphoria star confirmed in May of this year that they had ended their engagement and split.

Days before the screening, on November 1, the two reunited in LA when Sydney was pictured sitting in the passenger seat of a car driven by Jonathan in photos obtained by Page Six.

But the meeting devolved into a shouting match, with a witness telling TMZ that Sydney screamed, ‘I don’t believe you. Please leave, leave me alone.’
