Michigan terror plot? Defense attorney still waiting on charges

In a significant development, FBI Director Kash Patel has revealed the apprehension of a sixth suspect linked to a thwarted terror plot in Michigan during the Halloween weekend.

Patel disclosed that the suspect, originating from Washington state, was detained for allegedly offering material support with motives inspired by ISIS.

According to NBC News, the individual arrested is Saed Ali Mirreh, a 19-year-old from Kent, Washington. He was taken into custody by the FBI on Wednesday.

Alongside him, three Michigan residents and two individuals from New Jersey have also been detained. Among them is Ayob Nasser, 19, who was arrested on Wednesday, accused of being involved in planning a potential attack on LGBTQ+ establishments in the suburbs of Detroit.

Court documents indicate that Nasser, his brother Mohmed Ali, and Majed Mahmoud face charges of conspiring to provide material support and resources to a designated terrorist organization. They are also accused of handling firearms and ammunition for terrorist purposes.
