VIDEO: Large Lineman Goes Viral for Ridiculous Interception Return

Somewhere in the heavens, John Madden is surely grinning.

A remarkable “big man” touchdown unfolded during a high school football clash in West Virginia last Friday, capturing attention for its uniqueness.

The highlight came in the second quarter of the game between Wheeling Park and John Marshall. As John Marshall was advancing toward a likely score, Wheeling Park’s defensive lineman Akeem Davis snagged an interception and set off on a sprint toward the end zone.

Weighing in at 320 pounds, Davis quickly became a prime target for the entire John Marshall squad. Yet, despite their best efforts, he was unstoppable.

Initially, it seemed inevitable that Davis would be brought down amidst the swarm of tacklers converging around the 45-yard line. Defying both expectations and physics, however, Davis powered through, eventually crossing the goal line despite being tackled.

This incredible moment didn’t just stay local—it went viral, astonishing the crew at ESPN’s College Gameday with its sheer improbability.

The insane viral moment even caught the attention of the ESPN College Gameday crew, who reacted with disbelief.

“Get him the ball more,” ESPN host Pat McAfee said. “We’re in playoff season. Let’s get him at fullback.”

Whheling Park defeated John Marshall, 63-40.
