In a heartwarming ceremony held on Monday, East Tennessee State University (ETSU) celebrated local veterans with a unique and touching tribute. Collaborating with the Quilts of Valor Southern Appalachian group, ETSU’s Sherrod Library and Veterans Affairs Department honored several veterans by presenting them with exquisitely crafted handmade quilts. These quilts symbolize gratitude and recognition for the service and sacrifices of the nation’s military personnel.
