Host Rachel Campos-Duffy praised him for his intellect and independence, but the response from viewers was mixed. Nalin, who works in the finance sector in the Charlotte area following his graduation from Villanova University, shared his concerns about the challenges his generation faces. He expressed doubts about his ability to purchase a home and mentioned the difficulties many of his peers encounter in securing employment after college.

Despite his relatively successful career, Nalin acknowledged feeling the same financial pressures that plague Generation Z. However, his comments were met with criticism on social media. Critics accused him of being out of touch due to his privileged background. One user, @wokeafliberal, criticized Nalin for portraying himself as relatable, pointing out his apparent wealth through his Instagram posts that depict a lifestyle of luxury, including travels, fine dining, and a high-end car.

Nalin’s Instagram showcases snapshots of his journeys to lavish destinations, meals at Miami’s Versace Mansion, cigar indulgences, and a BMW ride. This imagery fueled skepticism among some viewers about his claims of financial struggle. However, others, like X user @JonathonEDavis, noted that while Nalin’s comments may not align strictly with political conservatism, they reflect genuine concerns felt by many young people today.

Campos-Duffy also asked Haley what he thinks of the Trump administration introducing the idea of a 50-year mortgage, to which he responded ‘whatever will lower the cost of houses.’ ‘Anything to put American workers first, lower the cost of housing, I think we should absolutely do it,’ Haley told Campos-Duffy. Haley also doubled down on the idea of banning H-1 B visas, which are used by companies to bring foreign workers into the United States.

The large majority of H1B visa holders come from India, the same country that Haley’s maternal grandparents hail from. Asked about his opposition to H-1 B visas, given his background, Haley added that people shouldn’t be surprised, as he has seen what the importation of foreign workers has done to his friends, and that his loyalty is to Americans first.

Some social media voices did seem to commend Haley for speaking up, with X user @KellyLMcCarty telling Haley ‘you’re over the target when both sides come at you,’ and that ‘as a mom (Gen X) of Gen Z daughters (one who is close to your age), I’m seeing the same thing happening to you all.’ ‘They’ll criticize you now, but they’ll have to call you ‘Mr. President’ in the future, and they’ll be lining up begging for jobs for themselves,’ added X user @crucifixwearer.
