The Jacksonville Jaguars might soon welcome back one of their most dependable players, as Brenton Strange has started his 21-day practice window.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jaguars are on the verge of regaining a vital component of their offense. Tight end Brenton Strange is poised to return after being sidelined for four games due to hip and quad injuries sustained in a matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs. This development opens his 21-day practice window, allowing the team to reinstate him from injured reserve.

Prior to his injury, Strange was a consistent force for the Jaguars, proving to be a reliable target in the passing game and a significant asset in the running game. His contributions were instrumental in helping Travis Etienne achieve some of his most impressive runs this season.

The return of Strange is likely to be a welcome sight for quarterback Trevor Lawrence, especially as the team has been struggling with dropped passes in recent weeks.

Strange could be reactivated in time for this weekend’s clash against the Los Angeles Chargers, providing a timely boost. This is particularly crucial as Travis Hunter is out for the season and Brian Thomas Jr. is still coping with an ankle injury.

If cleared to play, Strange’s presence could help stabilize an offense eager to find its rhythm as they head into the latter part of the season.
