A dedicated Keith Urban fan, who bears a striking resemblance to the country star, alleges that Urban subtly indicated an impending divorce from Nicole Kidman weeks before it became public knowledge.
Nicole Kidman, aged 58, officially filed for divorce from the “Let It Roll” singer, also 58, on September 30. This move concluded their 19-year-long marriage during which they raised two children together.
Dale Whiteside, a fervent admirer of Urban, claims that during a stop in Saskatoon, Canada, as part of Urban’s High And Alive World Tour on September 15, the singer dropped hints about his marital troubles. This was just shortly before Urban’s first TV appearance earlier this week.
The Daily Mail has attempted to reach out to representatives for both Urban and Kidman for comments, but no responses have been received yet.
Whiteside, who shares a remarkable likeness with Urban, shared with TMZ on Friday that the singer was stunned by their similar appearances even before they met in person.
During their conversation, Whiteside claims that Urban subtly suggested his marriage was on the rocks, implying an upcoming separation.
A Keith Urban superfan, who looks like the country singer, claims that the musician gave him a hint about his divorce from Nicole Kidman weeks before news broke (the former couple are seen in September 2017)
Whiteside told the publication that he was telling the country singer about a couple mistaking him for Urban at a music festival but they realized it wasn’t as the fan did not have a wedding ring on.
The fan claims that he had told Urban that the two ways they could be told apart were the wedding ring and tattoos.
However, after the fan took a photo with the country music artist, Whiteside claims before they parted Urban told him: ‘Next time, it’ll probably be just the tattoos.’
Whiteside says that he had no idea what his idol had meant at the time a until two weeks later when news broke of the divorce.
Meanwhile, Urban stunned the audience at the CMA Awards in Nashville on Wednesday by appearing onstage for a surprise duet with hostess Lainey Wilson.
The evening marked his first TV performance since it emerged in September that the power couple had split.
In the wake of the divorce news, past clips have resurfaced of Urban’s cozy onstage antics with guitarist Maggie Baugh, 25, fueling romance rumors about them.
One video showed him pointing to Baugh as he sang: ‘I was born to love you’ in Las Vegas, while another was of him changing his lyric: ‘Baby I’ll be the fighter,’ to: ‘Maggie, I’ll be your guitar player,’ during a show in Chicago.

Kidman, 58, filed for divorce from the Let It Roll hitmaker, also 58, on September 30, ending 19 years of marriage and their life together raising two children; the two are seen in Las Vegas back in April 2019
Sources close to the former power couple have suggested that their busy schedules – Urban on tour and Kidman juggling back-to-back film projects – led to a ‘lack of intimacy’ that contributed to the surprise split.
The former A-list couple’s divorce sent shockwaves through Hollywood.
Earlier this month, insiders claimed that they know the real reason the A-list couple have parted ways – Urban is having a ‘midlife crisis’.
He has been ‘acting out’ RadarOnline reported last week, and has made a ‘string of confusing choices’ according to sources.
The publication reports Urban had felt hemmed-in by his marriage and his frustrations resulted in the pair’s split.
As the dust settles on the couple’s divorce filing in Nashville, another insider has revealed the extent to which the country singer blindsided his actress wife.
Kidman and Urban had been experiencing marital difficulties but were ‘getting it back together’ when he floored her with the decision that it was all over, according to a source who has known the Australian actress for decades.

Those within Nicole’s inner circle believe that by the time TMZ broke news of the couple’s separation on September 30, Urban was ‘done’ with the marriage.
At the time, reports indicated Nicole was ‘blindsided’ by the break-up.
However, it was the Oscar-winner who filed divorce papers, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’.
Nicole shares daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, with her country singer ex-husband.
