Candace Owens’ bombshell revelation that a high-level French government source warned her of an alleged Macron-backed assassination plot has triggered an outpouring of support and concern on X.
Supporters assert that Candace Owens has long been a target of influential political and intelligence circles. Expanding on National File’s initial coverage, which suggested French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife orchestrated a plot against her, influential figures are now calling for clarity regarding the involvement of French and Israeli agents, alongside previous alleged attempts by U.S. officials to tarnish her image.
Project Veritas has backed Owens’ assertions by stating that “Candace has been pursued by governments for years,” releasing screenshots of leaked messages purportedly involving former senior DOJ official Mary Barr Daly, daughter of ex-Attorney General Bill Barr.
One message exchange allegedly discusses the need to initiate work on “the Candace Owens case,” labeling her as “the more challenging one,” and instructs operatives to devise a plan to gather incriminating evidence that could lead to imprisonment. Another message purportedly demands quicker blackmail efforts and increased surveillance on Owens and her husband to “ruin her reputation before she exposes us.”
Owens’ allegations have also resonated beyond the U.S. conservative media landscape. Pavel Durov, founder of Telegram, mentioned on X that after evaluating “everything Charlie Kirk has ever commented about Macron’s France,” Owens’ claims regarding potential French involvement in Kirk’s assassination seem “entirely feasible.”
Supporters have further pointed to documented cases involving French intelligence and alleged contract killings to argue that Owens’ warnings cannot be dismissed out of hand. European reporting in recent years has detailed how French secret agents were charged in connection with an attempted murder in a murky private plot, and how a former French spy under investigation over an alleged plan to assassinate a Congo-Brazzaville opposition figure was later found shot dead in the Alps.
In an update on X, Owens said she has “informed people in the Federal government and the White House of the France and Israeli assassination plot” and is prepared to provide “full details,” including “the name of the assassins and international accounts in France and Canada through which money was exchanged.”
Despite what critics may think of Candace Owens, the threats she faces cannot be dismissed lightly. Following the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk, these warnings demand urgent attention from government authorities. Owens’ claims stem from credible sources and carry grave implications. It’s imperative that her safety and the broader security risks involved be fully investigated and addressed.
