The concept of Homestead is a tangible reality. Nestled within the vast expanse of the Rocky Mountains, this self-sufficient compound has served as both a muse and backdrop for the popular Black Autumn novels and the Homestead film and television series.

Today marks the continuation of the first season of the Homestead series on the specialized streaming platform, Angel. This comes roughly a year after the film adaptation hit theaters, earning $20.8 million against a modest budget. Shooting primarily took place within the Homestead grounds, although the iconic ridge with three crosses is not an actual cemetery.
