Gregory Connor serves as the Assistant District Attorney for the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office, a position he has held since 2002. Connor’s career began as a prosecutor in district court, where he steadily advanced to lead prosecutions in motor vehicle homicide cases. He later became the chief of white-collar crime before taking on his current role as the office’s chief trial counsel.

In his capacity as chief trial counsel, Connor tackles some of the most challenging cases within Norfolk County. His responsibilities include handling superior court cases that involve more serious crimes, often resulting in longer sentences for defendants.

Connor explained his role to The Patriot Ledger, saying, “I act as an advisor to the lawyers in our office on matters such as case charges, formulating case dispositions, and developing trial strategies. Additionally, I handle some of the office’s more complex cases. Sometimes, I create blueprints for similar future cases, providing a framework for our team.”

Connor is an alumnus of Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood. According to his LinkedIn profile, he graduated from Boston College in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Political Science and English. He then earned his Juris Doctorate from Boston College Law School in 2000.
