A woman is in a critical condition after being allegedly assaulted and run over in Sydney’s south-west this morning.

Authorities were alerted to a residence in Narellan Vale early in the morning, approximately around 8:30 a.m., where they discovered a 36-year-old woman suffering from numerous injuries. Emergency services promptly administered treatment at the scene before she was airlifted to Liverpool Hospital. Her condition remains critical, and suspicions have arisen that this may be a case of domestic violence.

Following this distressing discovery, police initiated an investigation. Within a few hours, at about 11:00 a.m., they apprehended a 36-year-old man at a phone booth located near Camden Valley Way. He was subsequently taken to the Narellan Vale Police Station for questioning, although formal charges have yet to be filed against him.

As the investigation unfolds, police are reaching out to the public for assistance. They are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who was in the Maddison Court area during the time of the incident. Individuals with any information or dashcam footage are urged to come forward to aid the ongoing inquiry.
