The horrifying moment two masked men broke into a woman’s bedroom before stealing a wallet and Christmas presents during a home invasion in Melbourne’s north has been caught on camera.

In the early morning hours of December 5, a home on Dalton Road in Lalor became the scene of a distressing break-in. Around 3 a.m., two men reportedly forced their way into the front bedroom of the residence, where a woman lay in bed, unaware of the impending danger.

Once inside, the intruders allegedly brandished a knife, threatening the woman, before making off with her bag, which contained her wallet. In addition to this, they seized presents that had been carefully placed beneath the Christmas tree in another part of the house.
