Authorities were summoned to the Bay Street shopping center in Glebe around 5:50 p.m. after an incident erupted.

Reports indicated that a group of teenagers had engaged in a confrontation with another boy in the food court, which escalated into a heated exchange.

The situation turned chaotic as the teens began flinging chairs at the boy, with some of the chairs tumbling down to the lower levels of the complex.

By the time the police arrived, all the teenagers had made their escape, and fortunately, no injuries were recorded.

Video captured during the incident reveals the teens not only throwing chairs at each other but also seemingly targeting unsuspecting shoppers.

At one point, a woman on the escalator had to quickly avoid a stool thrown in her direction.

Police are investigating.
