WASHINGTON — Hold onto your tickets: Could you be the next big winner in Wednesday’s Powerball, which boasts an impressive $1.70 billion jackpot?

The jackpot has been climbing since September 6, following a win that defied the staggering odds of 1 in 292.2 million. If someone hits the jackpot in tonight’s draw, they could walk away with a cash payout of $781.3 million. This makes the current jackpot the fourth largest in Powerball’s history.

This year has already seen three significant Powerball victories. A notable $1.8 billion was claimed in September, while earlier in the year, a $526.5 million prize found a winner in California in March, and a $328.5 million jackpot was won in Oregon back in January.

The numbers drawn on Wednesday were 25, 59, 04, 52, and 31, with the Powerball number being 19. The Power Play multiplier for this draw was 2x.

Powerball drawings are held live every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET. Tickets are priced at $2 per play and are available in 45 states, along with the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
