Watch: Police Response to Anti-ICE Protest on Kentucky Bridge Delivered Unhappy Moments for Activists

Stories involving illegal immigrants often defy expectations, but this latest incident is truly surprising. It seems the unexpected has happened again.

A woman from Honduras, residing illegally in the U.S., reportedly ran a red light in Slidell, Louisiana, crashing into another vehicle. In a twist of fate, the vehicle she collided with belonged to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), who were conducting Operation Catahoula Crunch in the vicinity.

U.S. Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino humorously described the event as a “blooper for the books!”

What a blunder! While it’s difficult to pinpoint the exact number of accidents involving illegal immigrants, this one adds to the tally. Thankfully, this particular crash resulted in no injuries. The Slidell Police Department determined the woman was at fault for ignoring the traffic signal and failing to yield. Additionally, she was found to be driving without a valid license.

Apparently she never learned the lesson that red means stop, not “accelerate and collide with a government vehicle actively enforcing federal law.”

No injuries were reported, but she was certainly taken into custody.

Unlucky for her. Lucky for us.

Whoops. Talk about a mistake. I’m not even sure how many accidents have allegedly been caused by illegal aliens, but it’s a lot. Fortunately, no one was hurt in this crash. According to the local Slidell Police Department, the woman was at fault for disregarding the red light, as well as failure to yield. They also said she didn’t have a valid driver’s license.

I wonder if she had insurance. This is one situation that certainly didn’t end well for her. That’s one way to jump to the head of the list to be taken into custody for deportation.

There were a lot of people who will be joining her. As I mentioned above, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was conducting a big operation in the area, something a spokesperson confirmed.

“Sanctuary policies endanger American communities by releasing illegal criminal aliens and forcing DHS law enforcement to risk their lives to remove criminal illegal aliens that should have never been put back on the streets,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin.
