LG has unveiled a new addition to its Xboom series, a karaoke-centric party speaker crafted in collaboration with musician Will.i.am. Announced this week, the Stage 501 speaker features an innovative “AI Karaoke Master,” capable of removing or adjusting vocals from nearly any song, echoing the capabilities of the Soundcore Rave 3S.

This feature also allows users to modify the pitch of songs to enhance singability without the need for karaoke-specific audio files, according to LG. Building on the design of its predecessor, the Stage 501 retains a five-sided form but now includes enhanced dual woofers and full-range drivers, which LG asserts will deliver a more robust sound experience. The speaker boasts a swappable 99Wh battery, providing up to 25 hours of playback and 160W of power, which can increase to 220W when plugged in.

Additionally, LG introduces the Xboom Blast, a more compact model than the Stage 501, designed for outdoor enjoyment. It features edge bumpers and dual handles for easy portability. Like its counterpart, the Xboom Blast is equipped with a 99Wh battery, promising up to 35 hours of music playtime.

Rounding out the new offerings are the smaller Xboom Mini and Xboom Rock speakers. The Xboom Mini delivers up to 10 hours of playback and is equipped with IP67 water and dust resistance. Meanwhile, the Xboom Rock offers the same battery life and supports Bluetooth Auracast, enabling audio broadcasting across multiple speakers simultaneously.

All four models are equipped with AI-driven features that analyze audio to enhance melody, rhythm, or vocals, according to LG. The speakers also utilize AI to synchronize built-in lighting with the music, while the Stage 501 and Blast incorporate “Space Calibration Pro” technology to optimize sound quality in any environment.

While LG has not yet disclosed the pricing for these new speakers, the company has confirmed they will be available later this year.
