Israeli Billionaire Calls to Limit the First Amendment

Foreign tech mogul Shlomo Kramer declared it’s ‘time to limit the First Amendment’ and called for the U.S. government to control social media and rank citizens based on their speech.

An Israeli billionaire recently stirred controversy on national television by suggesting that the United States should reconsider its commitment to one of its most fundamental rights—freedom of speech. During an interview on CNBC, Shlomo Kramer, a prominent figure in the cybersecurity industry, argued that to effectively address societal “polarization” and remain competitive with authoritarian countries, America might need to rethink its foundational principles. Kramer’s proposal to “limit the First Amendment” has been perceived as a direct challenge to American values, driven by a foreign perspective that sees U.S. freedoms as problematic.

Kramer made his stance clear by suggesting that America’s dedication to free speech places it at an “unfair disadvantage.” During the CNBC interview, he remarked, “it’s time to limit the First Amendment in order to protect it and quickly before it’s too late.” Kramer believes such measures are necessary because nations like China maintain “a single narrative that protects its inner stability.” His statements suggest that some foreign interests view the First Amendment not as a valued principle but as a barrier to their broader objectives in global information management.

Defending American Sovereignty

In addition to his call for limits, Kramer detailed a dystopian plan for government-run AI censorship. Under this model, the government would monitor, rank, and control American citizens based on their online speech. When asked to elaborate, Kramer stated, “we need to control the platforms all the social platforms we need to stack rank the authenticity of every person that expresses themselves online and take control over what they are saying based on that ranking… The government should control the social media.”

Ultimately, the “America First” standard demands an absolute rejection of foreign nationals dictating changes to the U.S. Constitution. Kramer’s vision is one where technology is used not to empower individuals, but to “stabilize the political system” through top-down control. Upholding the First Amendment in its entirety is non-negotiable, as it is the bedrock of our republic and the only true defense against the tyranny that globalist elites are promoting.
