A Texas woman has been formally charged with the fatal stabbing of her uncle following a domestic argument over cooking duties.

On Monday, Fort Worth Police revealed the arrest of 32-year-old Ashley Marie Siebenaller, according to KDFW. Authorities responded to a call regarding a stabbing incident on December 26, shortly after noon. Upon arrival, they discovered 64-year-old Tony Vernon Graham with a stab wound to his chest. Tragically, Graham succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Witnesses informed the police that an argument had erupted between Siebenaller and Graham, which preceded the discovery of Graham lying on the floor. A witness also reported finding a bloodied knife on the couch, which was subsequently moved to a table for safety.

Initially, Siebenaller denied any involvement in the stabbing. However, according to an affidavit, she later confessed, citing anger towards her uncle who had locked her out earlier that day and further aggravated her by insisting she begin cooking. Siebenaller also claimed that Graham had stabbed her in the mouth first, though investigators noted no visible injuries.

Though the incident occurred in December, Siebenaller was not arrested until a week later. On January 2, a housemate contacted the police, reporting that Siebenaller was seen outside their room brandishing a knife.

Following this report, police secured a warrant for her arrest, and by Monday, she was taken into custody at the Tarrant County jail, facing charges of murder.

No bond has been set.
