It was an ordinary day at Athens Dental Depot in Columbus, Ohio, until the unexpected absence of Dr. Spencer Tepe caught everyone off guard. Known for his reliability, his coworkers were perplexed and promptly reached out to their employer, Dr. Mark Valrose, who owns the practice.

Dr. Valrose was enjoying a vacation in Florida when he received the concerning news. Given Dr. Tepe’s dependable nature, his absence was alarming enough to warrant immediate attention. Valrose attempted to contact Dr. Tepe without success, and even more concerning was the silence from Tepe’s wife, Monique, who was known to be equally reliable.

With no response from either Dr. Tepe or his wife, Valrose decided to take action and contacted 911 in Columbus at 9:03 a.m., requesting a wellness check to ensure their safety.
