In a recent development from Provo, Utah, a law enforcement source has disclosed to Fox News Digital that Lance Twiggs, the transgender individual previously identified as a roommate and romantic partner of Tyler Robinson—accused of assassinating Charlie Kirk—has been withdrawn from FBI protection.

The FBI has remained tight-lipped about the reasons behind the termination of Twiggs’ protection and has not disclosed any details regarding Twiggs’ current whereabouts.

Charlie Kirk, a prominent figure and the founder of Turning Point USA, met a tragic end when he was fatally shot in the neck during a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025. The event was part of his “American Comeback Tour” when the incident occurred.

As of now, Lance Twiggs faces no criminal charges.

Previously, Twiggs had been relocated to a townhome in St. George, Utah, after living with his grandparents. This move followed his father’s decision to expel him from the family home. A family member has confirmed Twiggs, now 22, is undergoing a gender transition from male to female. His departure from his parents’ residence happened when he was just 18.

At the time of the incident, Twiggs was residing with Tyler Robinson in an apartment located in southwestern Utah. Robinson, also 22, stands accused of assassinating Kirk during the UVU event.
