Lara Trump blasted for 'cringe' music video at Trump's golf estate

Lara Trump has found herself at the center of an online stir after appearing in a music video that many have labeled as ‘cringe-worthy.’ The video, filmed at the Trump National Golf Club, features her dancing alongside renowned Egyptian actor and singer Mohamed Ramadan. This comes not long after Lara faced public scrutiny for her singing attempts.

The footage, which dates back to September, recently resurfaced showing the 43-year-old Trump joining Ramadan in Miami. During the shoot, the popular singer took the opportunity to teach her his iconic ‘Tiger Dance’ moves. This collaboration was highlighted by Yahoo, bringing renewed attention to Lara’s foray into the world of music and dance.

This video project is part of a broader conservative music initiative called Make Music Right, spearheaded by former President Donald Trump. The initiative aims to promote what it describes as ‘traditional values’ through music, seeking to enlighten Americans on the cultural significance of music in shaping societal perspectives.

According to the Make Music Right website, the organization is a national, non-profit educational entity. Its mission is to foster a music culture that upholds traditional American values, aiming to elevate society through the arts.

The List confirmed that the video was indeed shot at Trump’s golf club. However, the response from the public has been less than favorable, with many criticizing the video and its dance sequences. Despite the backlash, both Lara Trump and Mohamed Ramadan continue to engage in their artistic endeavors, undeterred by the mixed reviews.

The List confirmed the video was shot at Trump’s golf club. As the pair were seen dancing and trading off verses, the footage received large amounts of backlash online.

‘I didn’t think there could be anything worse than Lara Trump singing… but I was wrong,’ a user on X wrote.

‘I seriously don’t understand why she isn’t embarrassed,’ another quipped.

A third comment said: ‘All I can say is “That is brutal.”‘

‘Lara Trump was doing her music while dogs from 3 states howled in pain.’

Another wrote: ‘I’ve never prayed desperately for something to be AI before, but here we are…’

‘Zero self awareness! This is so cringe! And yet her people are saying OMG! you’re so good. (While they laugh behind her back) I cannot! LOL.’

Ramadan posted a series of photos of the pair working together at the end of the last year.

‘Best workday with @laraleatrump and her daughter, the little princess Carolina Trump sweetest girl in the world,’ he wrote in September as they filmed the video.

‘Happy Global African American Day. Stay tuned.’

The song titled Sah-Sah is set to be released on January 23, according to Yahoo.

In 2023, Trump’s singing was criticized online after she released a cover of Tom Petty’s ‘I Won’t Back Down.’

While Petty’s estate had told the administration that his music was not for use, Trump’s cover was dubbed by one user as ‘bad autotuned karaoke,’ Yahoo reported.

The cover was also ridiculed on Saturday Night Live by Weekend Update co-host Colin Jost who said: ‘She recently released a cover of ‘I Won’t Back Down.’ Upon hearing it, Tom Petty died again. I can’t believe I’m saying this to a member of the Trump family, but maybe stick to politics.’

After incidents in the following years, Trump remained persistent in pursuing her music career and collaborated with rapper French Montana on ‘No Days Off.’

But her efforts were shot down by Rolling Stone, who described it as ‘a masterclass in insipid vocal fry pop slop.’

Trump also announced the release of her album, Just Lara, with features from the rapper Montana, Ray J, Vanilla Ice, Gims, Raz B and other artists.

Trump’s announcement of her album also received large amounts of criticism.

‘Love the Trumps but this sounds only slightly better than Friday by Rebecca Black,’ one wrote.

‘Jesus f***ing Christ. What a terrible day to have ears,’ another said.

‘I can’t stand autotune,’ a user commented with a thumbs down emoji.

‘Just what the world needs is a past middle aged, mediocre singer trying to be some kind of pop star.’

‘I am a huge Trump supporter. I voted for him 3x’s and Lara seems cool, but I’ll pass on this.’
