Vile online rant exposed after man allegedly killed his pregnant ex

A disturbing online tirade surfaced mere hours after a man was accused of a horrific crime spree, allegedly taking the lives of his pregnant ex-girlfriend and two of her family members.

Julian Ingram, aged 37, is currently evading capture following the suspected shootings of 25-year-old Sophie Quinn, who was expecting a child, along with two of her relatives in Lake Cargelligo on Thursday.

Ingram has a history of domestic violence offenses and faced charges last year related to stalking, assaulting Ms. Quinn, and property damage.

Despite pleading not guilty to these charges, Ingram was released on bail at the time the alleged murders occurred.

Not long after the tragic events, a vile online post was shared by another known domestic violence offender, Blake James Izzard, aged 27. Izzard claimed he met Ingram, also referred to as ‘Hoolio’, during a brawl at a local pub, which led to an unlikely friendship.

“I had a big fight with him at The Royal in Lake Cargelligo,” Izzard wrote, “but he turned out to be a good friend who stood by me.”

‘I’m sure Hoolio has his reasons, and I’m sure the bloke just f****** had enough finally.

‘I rate the bloke as a f****** hard worker, I rate him as a father, and I respect the man from where he come from and who he was.’

Police on Friday released a photo of Julian Ingram, who is wanted on an outstanding warrant for murder.

The rant has been heavily criticised online by women’s groups, including Australian Femicide Watch, which reminded its followers that Ingram is accused of murdering a pregnant woman and two others in cold blood.

Izzard was found guilty of domestic violence offences in 2024, including assault occasioning bodily harm, damaging property by fire, and resisting arrest.

An apprehended violence order was taken out on behalf of the victim.

His good behaviour bond ended in December.

The body of Ingram’s heavily pregnant ex-girlfriend, Sophie Quinn, was found in a black Suzuki Swift with green P‑plates after 4.30pm on Thursday, along with the body of her boyfriend, John Harris, 32.

Sophie was due to give birth to her son, Troy, in March.

Ingram then allegedly went to a nearby home and shot two people, killing Sophie’s aunt, 50‑year‑old Nerida Quinn, and seriously injuring 19‑year‑old Kaleb MacQueen.

Mr MacQueen was rushed to hospital and is in a serious but stable condition.

Ingram is now on the run from police, with a large-scale manhunt launched in the small town to find him.

On Friday morning, Western Region Command Assistant Commissioner Andy Holland confirmed the incident was linked to a ‘domestic violence relationship.’

‘We’re conducting a wide-scale search of the area around Lake Cargelligo and the adjoining villages,’ he said.

‘At this point, we’re looking for the public to help us identify both the wanted alleged offender and his vehicle.’

Ingram is described as between 165cm and 170cm tall, with a medium build, short dark hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen driving a Ford Ranger utility with NSW registration DM‑07‑GZ, which has council signage, a metal tray back, high‑visibility side markings and an emergency light bar on the roof.

Anyone who sees him has been urged to contact CrimeStoppers.
