EXCLUSIVE TO FOX: This week, as federal agents swarmed the streets of Minnesota, Fox News Digital acquired exclusive insights into the recent arrest of some of the most dangerous criminal illegal immigrants over the past day. Among those apprehended are individuals with convictions for pedophilia, sexual assault, and drug trafficking.
These revelations follow a Friday press briefing where Border Patrol chief Greg Bovino highlighted the significance of recent immigration enforcement actions in Minneapolis.
Beyond the two criminal illegal immigrant arrests discussed during the briefing in the city, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials informed Fox News Digital of additional individuals captured on Thursday during Operation Metro Surge. These individuals were convicted of sex offenses involving children, domestic violence, and drug-related crimes.

“DHS law enforcement continues its mission to remove violent criminal illegal aliens from Minnesota’s streets. Just yesterday, they arrested pedophiles, sexual predators, and drug traffickers in the state,” wrote DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin in an official statement. “Many of these threats to public safety were previously released from Minnesota jails.”
McLaughlin also urged Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey to comply with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainers for over 1,360 illegal immigrants currently held in Minnesota jails.
“Despite horrific smears and violent assaults against them, our officers continue to put their lives on the line to arrest the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens,” she said.
