Game-Changer: Detransitioner Wins Huge Judgment in First 'Gender Affirmation' Surgery Malpractice Case

These concepts should be straightforward: First, it’s unethical to perform life-changing elective surgeries on individuals too young to legally purchase alcohol. Second, it’s unfair to have males compete against females in sports. Despite how clear these principles seem, a disconcerting number of progressive individuals and left-leaning politicians have disregarded these basic standards of decency.

Recently, psychologist Kenneth Einhorn and surgeon Simon Chin encountered the pushback against extreme gender ideologies, signaling that it’s time to curb some of the more extreme actions we’ve witnessed. They believed it was acceptable to perform a double mastectomy on a 16-year-old girl who identified as male.

They were mistaken — it’s far from acceptable. Now, they must face the consequences:

This is what justice looks like.

Chloe Cole, a well-known detransitioner who has been vocal about the risks associated with certain “gender affirmation” procedures for minors, praised the lawsuit and its resolution:

Now that is justice.

Chloe Cole, another prominent detransitioner who has been sounding the alarm about the dangers of some of the “gender affirmation” procedures for minors, lauded the lawsuit and the outcome:

Because it’s the first successful verdict in a case like this, it’s likely causing medical professionals who make gobs of money off of mutilating children to be very, very nervous just about now:

It’s a historic ruling — not just because of the dollar amount, but because Varian is the first detransitioner to take a medical malpractice case before a jury verdict. And her win could have a ripple effect across the medical field.

The actual trial record is sealed, but reporter Benjamin Ryan attended for the entire three weeks and wrote an extensive report for The Free Press. He said the proceedings were “riveting and at times devastating” and “disturbing.”

Varian’s mother said the professionals just kept “pushing and pushing” for the surgery, and they made her fear that her daughter would commit suicide if it wasn’t performed. That is a story we’ve heard all too many times before.

The gender ideology extremists seem to be awfully quiet about this one, notes Ryan:

This is an outstanding verdict, and hopefully a sign of long overdue reckoning in the medical field.

Editor’s Note: Progressive policies have hurt America immeasurably.
