OCALA, Fla. – A man, aged 34, found himself under arrest early Friday following a shooting incident outside a bar in Ocala, which resulted in another man being injured. This information comes from the Ocala Police Department.

Authorities were called to the scene at around 1:15 a.m. at the 100 Proof Saloon, situated at 735 N. Pine Ave. Upon arrival, they discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds to his wrist and thigh, deemed non-life-threatening. The injured individual was transported to HCA Ocala for medical care.

The suspect, identified as Curtis Oneal Goodman Jr., was apprehended at the location. According to investigators, both evidence and witness accounts tied him to the shooting incident.

Goodman Jr. was subsequently taken to the Marion County jail, facing several charges including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without the intent to kill, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
