Savannah Guthrie Mom Missing: Day 6

Authorities have yet to reveal the reason behind the vehicle’s seizure or the specific evidence they aim to uncover from it.

Earlier in the day, FBI agents reportedly ascended Guthrie’s roof. Acting on a neighbor’s tip, they discovered and extracted a wired device, which the Daily Mail suggests might be a camera.

Video footage captured by journalists depicted agents navigating the roof’s perimeter before they removed the device.

In an interview with FOX News, retired NYPD Inspector Paul Mauro speculated that the device might be a crucial piece of evidence overlooked during the home’s initial inspection.

“Apparently, the agents found a new camera on that roof,” Mauro commented. “It seems they weren’t previously aware of it. I don’t have further details on why it wasn’t retrieved initially or what it might reveal.”

This burst of law enforcement activity coincided with comments from President Donald Trump. On Friday, as reported by the Daily Wire, Trump stated he had been briefed on the matter and anticipated a resolution soon.

“A lot has taken place in the last few hours,” Trump said, adding that he believes “we have some clues I think that are very strong, and I think we could have some answers coming up fairly soon.”

Previous Video Coverage

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Nancy Guthrie was last seen at her home shortly before 10 p.m. on January 31. Her family reported her missing at around noon on February 1, after she missed church.

Investigators later found blood on her front porch, confirmed to be Nancy’s. Officials said that around 1:47 a.m. on February 1, Nancy’s doorbell camera had been disconnected. At 2 a.m., Nancy’s pacemaker pinged her phone.

At around 2:12 a.m., security camera software detected movement, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said, although he could not confirm where the movement came from.

On Thursday, the FBI announced a $50,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of anyone associated with Nancy Guthrie’s abduction.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the FBI tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324). Tipsters can also contact the Pima County Sheriff’s Department tip line at 520-351-4900.
