Kimora Lee Simmons is reportedly holding her ground, declining to move out of a $25 million mansion in Beverly Hills. The property was originally purchased in 2017 by her estranged second husband, Tim Leissner, using funds allegedly misappropriated from Malaysia’s 1MDB sovereign wealth fund.

In 2020, Tim Leissner, now 56 and a convicted felon, sold the extravagant seven-bedroom estate through his LLC, Keyway Pride, to real estate moguls David and Simon Reuben. The sale included an agreement for monthly payments of $67,000, as noted by the New York Post.

Despite this, the 50-year-old reality TV personality has been residing in the opulent 3.7-acre property at 25 Beverly Park Circle since November 2020 without paying rent.

Simmons, whose maiden name is Perkins, even used the mansion as the filming location for her revived E! reality series, “Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane,” showcasing a lavish closet filled with 698 designer handbags.

The Daily Mail reached out to Simmons’ representatives for comment, but no response has been received yet.

A trial-setting conference is slated for February 25 to address the ongoing civil dispute concerning the home’s possession, title, and liability.

Last Friday, Leissner surrendered himself to Federal Correctional Complex in Allenwood, PA to serve a two-year sentence for conspiracy to violate the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and participating in a money laundering conspiracy.

St. Louis-born Simmons and the German-born investment banker welcomed 10-year-old son Wolfe during their marriage, but no divorce papers were filed and they haven’t been pictured together since 2019.

The Tony-winning producer has two daughters – Ming, 26; and Aoki, 23 – from her 11-year marriage to ex-husband Russell Simmons, which ended in 2009.

The 68-year-old ousted Def Jam co-founder is living his life in exile in Bali after being accused by over 20 women of sexual assault and misconduct.

‘The kids are with me full-time,’ the divorced mother-of-six told People.

‘I’m pretty much the primary parent. It’s difficult, but I don’t know sometimes what other people are thinking. Guys are weird. If I wasn’t this person, I don’t know if we would’ve made it or if we would be okay.’

Her ex Russell then clapped back on Threads on December 14 claiming she kept him from speaking to their daughters and he gave her ‘$50,000 a month for 20 years’ until he sued her over the sale of Celsius stock shares.
