OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A fierce four-alarm fire tore through a business in an industrial sector west of Kissimmee on Sunday, as reported by fire officials. The blaze, described as ‘sprawling’, captivated the attention of multiple fire departments working together to contain it.
The St. Cloud Fire Department, among others, responded to the emergency at Nursery Supplies, Inc. This company, known for manufacturing various plastic products for plant nurseries, faced a perilous situation when a brush fire, driven by strong winds, ignited its outdoor inventory, according to an official news release.
As the fire raged on, the flames remained uncontained by 9 p.m., underscoring the intensity of the situation. Fire crews from Osceola County, Kissimmee, St. Cloud, and other neighboring agencies joined forces in a coordinated effort to tackle the inferno.
This collaborative response highlights the critical nature of mutual aid in managing large-scale emergencies in the community.
According to the release,the intense blaze continued to burn as of 9 p.m.
The fire is being fought by crews from Osceola County, the city of Kissimmee Fire Department, St. Cloud Fire Rescue and other agencies, officials said.
