GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Kyle Sebastian Fowler, aged 38, found himself in legal trouble after being apprehended on a warrant for his actions while employed at Flip Factory in 2024. Fowler is accused of distributing additional game cards unauthorized by the company, leading to a financial loss of over $5,000 for the business.
The situation came to light when an Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a call from Flip Factory located at 7400 W. Newberry Road on August 10, 2024. A manager at the entertainment venue reported that Fowler had been issuing extra game cards and benefits to patrons. Surveillance footage captured Fowler in the act on 12 occasions between July 22 and August 8, 2024. Further investigation into the system revealed Fowler’s creation of game cards exceeded the number allowed by the purchased game plan, resulting in a calculated financial impact of $5,120.
Following the investigation, a warrant for Fowler’s arrest was signed by Judge David Kreider on January 29, 2026, with bail set at $5,000. Fowler was subsequently arrested on February 15, but quickly secured his release by posting the required bail.
