An Australian model, who has gained fame on OnlyFans, found herself in hot water after being caught on video stealing a bikini from a Bali boutique. Her subsequent confession led to a wave of death threats.

Gemma Doyle, a 26-year-old from Newcastle, NSW, was vacationing with a friend in Uluwatu when she swiped the swimsuit from the Muse store over the weekend.

The theft was recorded on CCTV, and the boutique owner shared the footage online, hoping to identify the culprit.

The video quickly went viral, and instead of staying silent, Ms. Doyle chose to address the situation publicly, which resulted in her receiving numerous threats and online harassment.

“It’s been quite frightening,” Ms. Doyle shared with the Daily Mail. “They attempted to extort me.”

She admitted to taking the bikini in a video posted to her social media account on Saturday.

‘I am aware of the stories going around and it’s true, I was on one and I was being a bit silly and I stole a swimsuit,’ she said as she walked through her hotel bar area.

‘But that’s all I did. I’m just a human being guys, and I have never stolen anything in my life but anyway I did that, it costs like $30 and I did it just for the fun of it.

‘But anyway, yes I know I’m fat, that’s what the lady said in her stories, but here’s my response.’

Ms Doyle then placed her phone on the ground and brazenly jumped into a pool yelling: ‘F*** you.’

The clip quickly ignited outrage, with comments slamming Ms Doyle’s apparent lack of remorse and calling for her to be reported to authorities and deported.

In Bali, shoplifting can carry serious consequences under Indonesian law, including fines or potential jail time.

Ms Doyle claimed she had received threats, and the circulation of the CCTV footage online had fuelled harassment.

But by Sunday, her tone appeared to shift. In a second video, she apologised to the store owner and said the incident was a mistake.

‘I really wanted to apologise,’ Ms Doyle said. ‘I was joking, but I actually wanted to apologise for taking what I took.

‘And I’m very, very sorry. I’m very, very sorry to the owners of the store, to everyone involved.’

She also claimed the situation came about because of underlying medical conditions.

‘I don’t wanna get too much into it, but I do have a brain injury because I was hit a lot of times in the head,’ she said.

‘And also because of my endometriosis where I was fainting and I would hit my head and it turns out I have a traumatic brain injury.

‘And I haven’t wanted to discuss this because I feel like it’s kind of embarrassing to talk about.’

She insisted she was meeting with the shop owner to return the bikini.

‘The owner is coming to meet me now and I’m going to pay her double of what was taken and also give the items back,’ she said.

‘But for everyone sending threats, insults, posting stories of me, that’s okay. I get it. I did the wrong thing.

‘I take accountability. I am really sorry.’

However Ms Doyle’s story changed on Monday when she spoke to the Daily Mail and claimed it was simply a drunken mistake.

She slammed the shop owner for demanding too much compensation, and added: ‘I hadn’t had alcohol for two years.

‘I thought as it was my second time overseas I’ll have a few drinks and this happened unfortunately, and then they tried to extort me.

‘I know I was wrong, I apologised immediately and offered to return the item as well as pay for it.

‘They tried to say I had to pay $1,500 or 18million (IDR) and I said I was not paying that for a pair of swimmers, but I wanted to make it right.’

She also claimed the situation has escalated and that her life was in danger.

‘I put a pair of swimmers in my bag and that was it,’ she said.

‘I have returned the item to the owner. I made a mistake. Bully me sure, but death threats over a pair of swimmers?

‘We have all made mistakes. I’ve been honest and taken accountability.’

Daily Mail spoke to a friend of the shop owner who said that the police had attended Ms Doyle’s hotel on Sunday night.

Ms Doyle also confirmed she had spoken to police but said she ‘didn’t get into any trouble with the cops’.

However she warned that she intended to report the shop owner to authorities.

‘I’m reporting them back for harassment, doxing my personal information and endangering me and death threats,’ she said.

‘I have all the proof.’
