In an unusual turn of events in Brevard County, Florida, a Palm Bay woman found herself in a peculiar situation after being detained by the authorities. The incident began with 24-year-old Dymond Osbourne allegedly hurling a cinderblock through the rear window of someone’s vehicle, leading to her subsequent arrest.

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, under the direction of Sheriff Wayne Ivey, reported that Osbourne’s motive for the destructive act remains unclear. However, it certainly secured her a trip to what the sheriff humorously refers to as “Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge,” where she was formally processed by the county’s diligent staff.

Upon her arrival at the detention facility, Osbourne made a startling admission to the corrections team. She revealed she had a bag of cocaine hidden in what she referred to as her “jail purse.” Despite being handcuffed, she managed to manipulate her hands enough to consume some of the concealed substance during her transport.

The sheriff further detailed that Osbourne was found to have approximately 6 grams of cocaine hidden within her person, a fact that underscored the seriousness of the situation.

This bizarre sequence of events underscores the unpredictable nature of law enforcement duties and the lengths to which individuals might go to conceal illicit activities.

According to Ivey, it was revealed that Osbourne had around 6 grams of cocaine in her “personal place.”

As a result, Osbourne now faces charges of criminal mischief, introduction of controlled substance into a detention facility, possession of a controlled substance, and tampering with evidence.

“Man… I’ve heard of packing a carry-on while traveling, but this takes that statement to a whole new level!!” the release concludes.

Booking data shows that Osbourne is held on bond of $8,000.
