The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has unexpectedly decided to keep its PreCheck service running, contradicting an earlier announcement from Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. This decision ensures travelers can continue to benefit from the expedited screening service.

“As of now, TSA PreCheck remains fully functional, with no disruptions for travelers,” a TSA representative confirmed to The Post.

The DHS has been partially shut down since Feb. 14 due to a funding lapse in Congress caused by a deadlock over the Democrats’ demands for sweeping reforms to immigration enforcement policy.
