An Oklahoma resident is facing federal charges this week following an alleged attempt to kill law enforcement personnel and issuing threats against various individuals, including supporters of the “MAGA” movement and former President Donald Trump, as announced by the Justice Department.

Taylor Prigmore, a 30-year-old from McLoud, reportedly expressed in a YouTube comment from January 17 that “Our presidents needs to die to save lives,” according to a federal complaint filed in Oklahoma’s Western District.

In another alleged post from the same day, Prigmore stated, “I really tired of dumb f—s pretending he’ll obey the courts,” and questioned the purpose of the Second Amendment, suggesting it was for “Ending MAGA.”

Further accusations in Prigmore’s indictment, filed on February 17, reveal a post from January 16 where he expressed anticipation for a civil war and made violent threats against “MAGA” supporters. Additionally, he allegedly urged preparation for “civil w*r” and encouraged actions against federal agents in a post on January 17.

Prosecutors assert that Prigmore’s threatening behavior dates back to May 9, 2025, extending to January 17, 2026. He allegedly declared intentions to kill law enforcement officers who attempted to confront him at his home, with a desire to harm as many as possible.

The Department of Justice’s press release details that Prigmore was apprehended by the FBI on January 19, 2026. During a brief standoff prior to his arrest, Prigmore reportedly fired several shots at federal agents, though no injuries were reported.

Prigmore was indicted by a federal jury last week and charged with attempted murder of federal law enforcement; assaulting federal officers, possessing, brandishing, and discharging a firearm in the furtherance of a crime of violence; four counts of threatening to murder federal law enforcement officers, and two counts of communicating a threat.

“Be brave. Say it where ever you go. Kill feds,” Prigmore wrote in a May 9 YouTube post, according to his indictment. “Buy a gun. This is life and death.”

In another post from Jan. 17, Prigmore allegedly said, “It’s not sarcasm. I live in america. I am prepping physically and mentally to kill federal agents. Have you not seen the news of late. The nazi’s are winning over here. … Sex slaves, lynchings, rapes, disappearances and murders, are being perpetrated by ICE. In the open now. I intend to kill these people as law has abandon justice here.”

Federal investigators found a Hi-Point, model Luger C9, 9 mm semiautomatic pistol in Prigmore’s possession after he opened fire on officers, his indictment says. He faces up to 100 years in federal prison, if convicted, and fines of up to $2.25 million. He’s scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday.
