Thieves swipe $40,000 of rescue gear from SES depot
Thieves made off with $40,000 of crucial SES rescue equipment after breaking into a facility in Melbourne this week.

Authorities report that a break-in occurred at the VICSES Essendon Unit on Rutherford Street, Aberfeldie, around 1 a.m. on Wednesday, February 25. The incident involved four masked individuals, believed to be male, who arrived at the site by vehicle and scaled a fence to enter the premises.

In a bid to solve the case, detectives have shared images of four men they are eager to question regarding the burglary.

The first individual is described as having a Caucasian appearance. He was seen wearing a black T-shirt featuring the text “Fear of God Essentials” on the front, paired with a black baseball cap adorned with a motif on the front and additional text on the left side. He also wore light purple or red shorts and light grey Adidas Gazelle sneakers.

The second suspect is similarly described as Caucasian and was dressed in a black hoodie displaying white text on the back. His outfit was completed with black shorts and black-and-white TN Nike shoes.

The third person is also described as Caucasian, clad in a grey hoodie, blue gloves, light blue pants, and black running shoes.

The third is described as Caucasian in appearance, wearing a grey hoodie, blue gloves, light blue pants and black running shoes.

The fourth is described as Caucasian in appearance, wearing a black t-shirt with a white cross logo on the back, black (possibly Champion branded pants) and white high-top shoes.
