Fire Chief Pavel Tovar refrained from specifying whether the fatalities occurred among those on board the aircraft or the occupants of the cars on the highway. However, he did confirm that there were injuries resulting from the incident.

The aircraft collided with vehicles in the city of El Alto, situated next to La Paz, before it ultimately came to a halt in a nearby field. This information has been corroborated by images that have been widely shared on social media.

Photographs from the scene reveal the severely damaged cockpit of the plane alongside a crushed vehicle, painting a grim picture of the aftermath.
