Iran attacks US military base in Saudi Arabia with surge of ballistic missiles

Reports have emerged of an attack on a U.S. military installation in Saudi Arabia, as Iranian ballistic missiles target the site. This development was reported by Fox News, highlighting a significant escalation in regional tensions.


The incident involves Prince Sultan Air Base, which came under fire, according to a Saturday evening report by Fox correspondent Jennifer Griffin. The information was relayed to her by a senior military official.


Situated about 40 miles from Riyadh, the Saudi capital, the base is currently being defended by Saudi forces. Griffin noted that these forces are actively intercepting and shooting down the incoming missiles.
