Rodgers slams 'obsessed' fans trying to identify his mysterious wife

Aaron Rodgers has vocally criticized fans for their relentless attempts to uncover the identity of his elusive wife, describing their actions as “f***ing bizarre.” This strong reaction follows the 42-year-old’s recent reappearance on the Pat McAfee Show after a prolonged absence, as he had been focusing on his NFL career throughout the 2025 season.

During his much-anticipated return to the show, Rodgers didn’t hold back in expressing his exasperation over the public’s fixation with his spouse’s identity. Since revealing his nuptials in 2025, Rodgers has chosen to keep his married life shielded from the public eye, making the fervent curiosity all the more frustrating for the star.

“The obsession is f***ing bizarre, that’s the only way to put it,” Rodgers remarked candidly. Reflecting on past discussions, he added, “You guys know, you laughed about this many times, you showed pictures of it… we’re not living at the beach anymore.”

Rodgers went on to reveal the darker side of fame, sharing that he has been dealing with “legitimate stalkers” for over a year and a half. The invasions of his privacy include being followed at his home, coffee shop, and gym, as well as paparazzi deploying drones in a bid to capture images of his wife. “I’ve learned that it’s had a bounty on getting a picture of my wife, which I think is very bizarre as well,” he disclosed.

While acknowledging the public attention that accompanies his achievements, Rodgers emphasized the seriousness of the situation, stating, “I understand the attention that comes with somebody that’s accomplished what I’ve accomplished, so in no way am I making this a ‘woe is me’. But when it comes to your personal safety, it’s not just me… it’s me and her, and it’s really f***ing bizarre.”

Rodgers married an unknown bride during last year’s offseason, before setting the internet ablaze when he turned up at Pittsburgh Steelers training camp with a wedding band on his finger.

During a conversation with McAfee in December, the Super Bowl winner revealed that his wife’s name was ‘Brittani with an I’ but kept any further details under wraps.

‘When we met back in 2017, I know there was something crazy special about this, and I wanted to be with her,’ he added. ‘She would make funny comments like, “I would never live in Green Bay”, and “I don’t want to be a players’ wife”.

‘She’s just not a public person. Then she moved back across the pond and I got myself into crazy town.’

Rodgers went on to allege that certain members of his inner circle even passed on private information to the media.

‘I was with individuals who called the paparazzi, who leaked where I was living, who coerced me to make Instagram posts, I never really wanted to live a public life. If you look at the saga with my family for years, that was one-sided. They were taking shots in the media and I never really said anything until it got to the point that I was like, “enough is enough”.

‘I don’t post on X, I’m not a social media guy any more, so I only know all this stuff because of my sweet sister Mia.’

Later in Wednesday’s show, Rodgers left McAfee in hysterics when he made a crude admission about his sex life with ‘Brittani.’

The former Green Bay Packers star was discussing staying in shape during the offseason when he joked that he wants his partner to ‘want to f*** me all the time.’

‘I’m trying to stay fit. I mean, it’s harder when you’re older. So you can’t take the same amount of time off as you’re used to,’ Rodgers said.

‘After so many seasons I would take a few weeks off, a month off, a month-and-a-half… now at 42, just to stay in shape you’ve got to always be dialed in on the diet and sleep and workouts if you want to look the right way.’

He then added: ‘I want to look good. I want my wife to want to f*** me all the time.’

Rodgers has a big decision to make after wrapping up his 21st season in the NFL, which he spent with the Steelers.

It remains to be seen whether he either returns for another year in Pittsburgh, joins a new team or calls time on his career this offseason.
