Savannah Guthrie made a heartfelt return to Studio 1A in New York on Thursday, expressing gratitude to her colleagues for their unwavering support during the distressing period of her mother’s disappearance.

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. — “TODAY” show anchor Savannah Guthrie visited the New York City studio on Thursday for the first time since her 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, went missing a month ago.

According to footage released by TMZ, Savannah was warmly greeted by her coworkers and crew members, sharing hugs through the iconic windows of Studio 1A, located at Rockefeller Center in New York City.

A spokesperson for “TODAY” later confirmed Savannah’s visit to the studio.

“Savannah Guthrie stopped by the studio this morning to be with and thank her TODAY colleagues,” the spokesperson announced. “While she intends to return to the show on air, her priority remains supporting her family and working tirelessly to ensure Nancy’s safe return.”

Savannah has been in Arizona with her siblings since Nancy’s disappearance, actively releasing videos urging those responsible to return their mother safely.

When will Savannah return to ‘TODAY’?

Savannah Guthrie has been with her siblings in Arizona since her mother’s disappearance, as they have released a series of videos pleading with those responsible to return Nancy unharmed.

CNN reported on Feb. 27 that she intends to return to “TODAY” at some point, but said sources close to Savannah indicate there is no timetable set for her to return. NBC is reportedly giving Savannah and her siblings time to process the ongoing disappearance of their mother, and her co-hosts on “TODAY” have enlisted Hoda Kotb to take over in her absence.

What’s the latest on Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance investigation?

A pair of black gloves found near Nancy Guthrie’s home were traced back to a local restaurant employee who is “not part of this investigation,” according to officials with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.

The gloves, found about two miles from Nancy’s home, were tested for DNA, which led officials to connect them to the restaurant employee, officials said.

The gloves were previously said to be consistent with those the suspect wore in the doorbell video. According to the FBI, officials received preliminary results on the gloves on Feb. 14. They had to await quality control and official confirmation before they put the unknown male profile into CoDIS.
