A $250,000 reward is now being offered by police for any information that could lead to the capture of Julian Ingram, who is wanted in connection with a tragic incident that has left a small NSW town in mourning. The community is preparing to say goodbye to Sophie Quinn, her unborn child, and her aunt, following their untimely deaths.

Julian Ingram, aged 37, has been eluding authorities for nearly two months. He has been accused of the fatal shootings of his former partner Sophie Quinn, who was 25, her 50-year-old aunt Nerida Quinn, and a friend, 32-year-old John Harris. The incident occurred on January 22 in Lake Cargelligo, located in the Central West region of New South Wales.

Sophie Quinn was heavily pregnant at the time of her death and was expecting to give birth in March. In a poignant move, her family has shared an ultrasound image of the unborn child with the public through NSW Police.

Speaking to 9News, Quinn’s family confirmed that she and Ingram had ended their relationship the previous year.

The family told 9News Quinn and Ingram separated last year.

NSW Police Deputy Commissioner Paul Pisanos described the announcement of the reward as “a major milestone for the community”.

The shooting broke the tiny town of Lake Cargelligo and rattled the entire state.

More than 100 officers were on the ground working from tip-offs until there were no more leads.

“The information has slowed from the public, this is an idea to generate information,” NSW Police Assistant Commissioner Andrew Holland said.

Police believe Ingram is still alive.

“He hasn’t accessed any of his mobile phones or his banking records in that time, so we believe he is alive and he’s getting support,” Holland said.

The last confirmed sighting of Ingram was on January 25 at Mount Hope.

Since then police have answered 280 calls for potential tips and sightings and have scoured through 25,000 hectares of land.
