The 41-year-old mother-of-two divorced her millionaire husband and moved to Florida where she bought a house just down the road from Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago club, the Daily Mail exclusively learned. Habba quietly filed for divorce against her second husband Gregg Reuben in New Jersey Superior Court last month, according to documents reviewed by the Daily Mail. The divorce, which sources say was amicable, was quickly settled. Two sources familiar with her dissolved relationship told the Daily Mail that they separated last year.

Alina Habba is stepping into a new chapter of her life. The 41-year-old mother of two has officially ended her marriage to millionaire Gregg Reuben and relocated to Florida. She has purchased a home near the iconic Mar-a-Lago club, owned by former President Donald Trump. The Daily Mail has learned that Habba discreetly filed for divorce last month in New Jersey Superior Court, with the process concluding swiftly and amicably. Insiders reveal that the couple had been living separately since last year.

Source Says Habba and Reuben Had Been Living Separate Lives for a While

One of those sources close to Habba said she is 'a star in her own right,' and that it's 'hard to live in that shadow,' when pressed on the reason for the end of their marriage. They said that the two have been living separate lives for a while and claim that Reuben 'wasn't political.' Reuben, the millionaire founder of New York City-based parking management company Centerpark, is a Harvard Business School graduate, a father of one, chair of the Transportation Department's Advisory Board, and now the second ex-husband of Habba. The two married December 31, 2020 in New Jersey – around the same time that Habba began working for Trump and just one year after her divorce from her first husband Matthew Eyet, with whom she shares two children.

Sources close to Habba describe her as ‘a star in her own right,’ suggesting that her rising profile might have contributed to the marriage’s end. They noted that Reuben, who is not politically inclined, seemed to struggle with Habba’s growing presence in the public eye. Reuben is a notable figure himself, as the founder of the New York City-based parking management company Centerpark, a Harvard Business School alum, and a father of one. The couple tied the knot on December 31, 2020, in New Jersey, coinciding with the start of Habba’s role as Trump’s attorney and just a year after her divorce from her first husband, Matthew Eyet, with whom she shares two children.

Habba and Reuben did not have children together during their five-year marriage. Habba exploded onto the scene as Trump's personal attorney between his first and second presidential terms after they met at his Bedminster, New Jersey golf club. She quickly became a recognizable face in Trump world, and a fierce MAGA loyalist. She was a firebrand on the 2024 campaign trail and was known for her amped up rally speeches and sparkly attire. Then she served a brief stint as Counselor to the President for the first few months of Trump's second term.

Habba made her mark as Trump’s personal attorney during the interlude between his presidential terms, following their meeting at his Bedminster, New Jersey golf club. She quickly became a notable figure within Trump’s circle, known for her energetic speeches and glittering wardrobe choices on the campaign trail. Her commitment to the MAGA movement was evident, and she briefly served as Counselor to the President at the beginning of Trump’s second term.

Source Claims Divorce Was Amicable

He appointed her to be interim Attorney for the District of New Jersey – her home state – but she was unable to get the support from lawmakers that she needed to be placed in the position permanently. Instead, Trump placed her at the Justice Department where she is currently serving as Senior Advisor to Attorney General Pam Bondi for all US Attorneys. During this entire time, her marriage was falling apart. One source familiar with the divorce said it was amicable and not at all messy, although confirmed it was Habba who initiated the divorce and filed the papers in New Jersey court.

'If there's one thing I know about Alina Habba, it's that she doesn't take [expletive] from anyone,' they told the Daily Mail. 'She's famously described herself as a 'feisty Jersey girl,' and anyone who's met one knows exactly what that means.' 'She's widely successful, a rockstar mom, and I have no doubt she'll eventually find someone who celebrates her sparkle instead of trying to dim it,' they added. 'Until then, she's doing just fine being a boss.' Habba did not want to comment on her divorce when a spokesperson was reached by the Daily Mail.

Reuben did not immediately respond to the Daily Mail's request for comment on the divorce. Habba has two kids with her first husband Matthew Eyet, whom she married in 2011 and divorced in 2019. The attorney and Trump adviser splits her time between Florida, New Jersey, where her kids attend school, and Washington, DC. She christened her new bachelorette mansion in Palm Beach by hosting a New Year's Eve Party this year instead of attending Trump's bash at Mar-a-Lago.
