(WJHL) — On Saturday, Elizabethton’s Main Street transformed into a haven for math enthusiasts and dessert lovers alike during the inaugural ‘Slice of Downtown: Pi-e Day Shop & Stroll.’ This unique celebration brought together community members who share a love for numbers and pie. Jennica Normon, a key sponsor from the Betsy Business Bureau Club, played a pivotal role in the event. She spent time observing students at T.A. Dugger Junior High School, drawing inspiration from their enthusiasm and creativity.
