NYC rooftop fire casts shadow on St Patrick's Day Parade

A blaze erupted in Manhattan on Tuesday, coinciding with St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.

The New York City Fire Department (FDNY) received an alert about a rooftop fire at 6 E43rd Street, as reported by Fox News.

Sharing a dramatic video of smoke rising into the sky, FDNY posted on X, “The FDNY is responding to a fire on East 43rd Street in Manhattan.”

Please consider alternate routes.”

Kevin Gordon, who leads macro research and strategy at Schwab Center for Financial Research, uploaded a photo of the dense smoke on X, expressing concern, “Quite the scene this morning on 43rd Street in Midtown Manhattan … really hope everyone is alright.”
