LIVE: Iran hits Kuwait oil refinery in fresh attack

All the energy sites attacked by Iran as Tehran wages economic war against US and Israel

In a significant escalation of regional tensions, Iran has launched attacks on five energy sites across the Gulf states, signaling its intent to engage in a ‘full-scale economic war’ against the United States and Israel. This aggressive stance follows an assault on the South Pars gas field, marking a critical turning point in the conflict that erupted 20 days ago.

The repercussions of these strikes are reverberating across the region. In Qatar, the Ras Laffan Industrial City, a pivotal hub for the nation’s gas production, suffered “significant damage” due to Iranian missiles, according to local reports. This attack poses a substantial threat to Qatar’s energy infrastructure and economic stability.

Although the resulting fire was significant, fortunately, no injuries were reported. Concurrently, another drone attack targeted the Mina Abdullah refinery, further exacerbating the challenges facing Kuwait’s energy sector.
