Petrol bowsers across NSW have begun running out of fuel.
Despite assurances from the government that fuel stocks across NSW are fine, dozens of petrol stations across the state are starting to run dry.

Reports indicate that at least 42 fueling stations have exhausted their petrol supplies, with nearly twice that number lacking diesel.

In Baulkham Hills, motorists have found themselves unable to refuel as petrol stations have completely run dry.

“I was really hoping to get some fuel, even just a little,” one frustrated driver shared with 9News.

“Everywhere I look, there are ‘out of order’ signs. It’s absolutely crazy,” another motorist expressed.

Many drivers are placing the blame on political figures, both locally and internationally.

“The orange man, unfortunately, has a lot to answer for,” a driver remarked to 9News.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese warned panic buyers today, urging drivers to take no more fuel than they need.

“My message to Australians is do not take more fuel than you need, that is how you can help,” he said.

“Every single ship that was due to land here has landed here.

“This has been an issue of increased demand.”

NSW Premier Chris Minns echoed calls for calm, but acknowledged the future remains uncertain.

“Allows us more time to prepare for every eventuality if the conflict in the Persian Gulf continues,” Minns said.

The rising prices are causing Australians to look for alternatives, including public transport and even electric vehicles instead.

Google searches for electric cars have risen over the past few weeks, particularly for big manufacturers like Tesla and BYD.
