Iranian man, 2nd person arrested after allegedly trying to enter UK nuclear missile base: report

An attempted breach at HM Naval Base Clyde in Scotland led to the arrest of two individuals on Thursday, authorities informed Fox News Digital. The incident involved an Iranian man and a woman whose nationality has yet to be determined, according to The Telegraph.

Police Scotland released a statement regarding the incident: “At approximately 5pm on Thursday, 19 March 2026, we were notified of an attempt by two individuals to enter HM Naval Base Clyde. A 34-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman have been detained, and investigations are ongoing.”

As reported by The Telegraph, the man was identified as Iranian, while details about the woman’s nationality remain undisclosed. The Times further noted that the pair was refused entry due to a lack of proper credentials and were subsequently apprehended nearby after reportedly exhibiting suspicious behavior.
